Friendship Works
Improving the lives of children and young people facing disadvantages
Family Action’s Friendship Works is a London-based youth mentoring service
Friendship Works improves the life chances of children and young people facing multiple disadvantages by matching them with a safe, reliable adult volunteer mentor on a long-term basis. Through quality friendships, our mentors give young people access to new opportunities, helping to build their self confidence and develop the resilience needed to manage adversity now and in the future.
“Thank you so much for the generous donation made by the Morris Charitable Trust. This support will help fund over fifty outings for two of our mentoring matches. Many of the young people we support face multiple disadvantages in their lives and have limited opportunities to access activities and trips that many other children would take for granted. Thank you bringing a sense of fun and happiness to some of young people’s lives”
